Christkindl Market

    Christkindl Market

    COST: $86.00

We start the day at the fabulous Christkindl Market in Kitchener, a traditional pre-Christmas German Marketplace. Christkindl Markets are world renowned for their special ceremonies, festivities, entertainment and outstanding selection of gifts and delectable foods. A Hot Turkey dinner with all the trimmings is included at Marian's Country Cupboard in Hawkesville. After lunch, a local guide will join us for a tour around Kitchener and we'll hear stories of the German influence in the K-W region. Visit Woodside National Historic Site, the boyhood home of William Lyon Mackenzie King, Canada's longestserving Prime Minister. The house has been restored to the Victorian style of the 1890s.
