December 13, 2012 - Gala Luncheon

John Tory was our guest speaker and everyone was delighted. The National Club dining room was holiday decorated and as many of our members wore festive colors the mood was set for a lovely afternoon. To complete the good mood we were entertained by a delightful duet.

December 8, 2012 - Christkindl Market

The day started with pouring rain but nothing could spoil this fun filled adventure. The Christkindl Market was busy and we all bought something. Then on to Marian's Country Cupboard and a wonderful turkey dinner complete with rainbow salad! An informative tour of the Mennonite countryside, complete with buggies of all description, ended at the Joseph Schneider House. More goodies were purchased after a house tour and then safely home.

The June 7 trip to King's Wharf Theatre was more than successful. Good travel companions. Perfect weather. Delicious lunch and a wonderful production of "Annie" Many thanks to Audrey Evans.

A sunny May 16 set the mood for the annual Spring Luncheon at the Old Mill. Over 100 people enjoyed the talk given by Sheldon Levy, President of Ryerson University.
